At Johnson’s Concrete, we approach each and every project with integrity, resourcefulness, craftsmanship, and efficiency. As a locally-owned and operated business, we offer all of our clients with an attentive, personalized experience from the beginning of a project to its conclusion. Our process ensures that each service is completed with the utmost quality and care.

Introduction (30 Mins.)

In this phase, Johnson’s Concrete spends time focusing on the problem or idea that you have. You will speak to Darius or Barry, who will ask questions, take careful notes, and let you know how we will work with you. After we determine your needs, we will recommend next steps. For most clients, this means scheduling an on-site consultation to kick of the “Plans” phase.

Often, clients approach Johnson’s Concrete to receive a preliminary estimate to determine if a project is viable based on the client’s budget. We can provide an estimate during this phase based on the square footage and description of the project. Although, we encourage an on-site visit to allow Johnson’s Concrete to provide more accurate numbers.

plans (1-3 Days)

In this phase, Johnson’s Concrete will visit your home, office, or site of interest to determine the project’s scope of work. We strive to meet with clients within 3 days of initial contact. Any time or day is on the table. This is the most important part of the project as we often discover challenges or opportunities that clients are unaware of, and ultimately how we can use our knowledge and skills to meet your goals.

We will determine the specs of the site as it relates to elevation, drainage, placement of utilities like septic tanks or electrical lines, building codes, and more. We will also determine the exact placement, form, and finish for your concrete surface to ensure it complements existing landscapes and buildings. This information will help us determine the amount of materials and labor required to complete your project.

We encourage you to use this planning phase to explore concrete’s functionality and aesthetic with our team. We want to bring your vision to life!

proposal and Scheduling (as fast as you want to move!)

In this phase, Johnson’s Concrete builds off of previous consultations to develop a proposal which includes the recommended scope of work and associated costs. We encourage clients to ask questions and explore other concrete solutions before confirming the price and project schedule. At times, the client will request a different size or style for their finished surface. You can request multiple quotes based on the services provided ie. stamped concrete vs. standard concrete (no pattern or color). We want to provide you with the best options for your vision!

Upon acceptance of the proposal, Johnson’s Concrete will work with you to determine the day(s) in which we can initiate and complete construction.

Delivery (1-5 days)

We turn careful planning into visual results. Our customer-focused approach, along with current design trends, carefully follows the strategy for execution that we crafted in “Plans” phase. Upon initiation, you can expect the project to be delivered in 1 - 5 days depending on the scope. For example, a new 70 foot sidewalk can be completed in 1 day if minimal site prep is required.

We request payment upon completion of the project with all checks written to “Johnson’s Concrete”. Depending on the length and scope of the project we may request a deposit.
